RACE DETAILS, RULES AND REGULATIONS:
This event will be held on Sunday the 29th of March 2026.
Race will start at 7.15 am with the Kids races followed by the Ladies, 40+, 50+ at 8:10am and at 9am the Elite, U23 and Juniors.
Race will be in the following format, according to age group:

Fees are as follows €10 for children U12,U14,U16 and €20 for the rest
All participants need to possess both a valid Insurance policy AND be members of the Malta Cycling Federation!
Non MCF Members can not participate.
Timing chip will not be needed as this race will be manually timed.
- 7.15am: The U12 will start at 7.15am followed by the U14 and U16.
- 8.10am: The second race (Ladies, 40+ and 50+) will commence around 8.10am.
- 9am: The third and last race (Elite, U23, Juniors).
One should be at the race venue at least 30 minutes before their race starts.
Participants who place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their respective categories, will be awarded a trophy. Each participant will be awarded with a medal.
General Information:
- Cyclists are to use race numbers as assigned to them by the race organizers and are required to use 2 side and 1 front helmet numbers and also 1 bike frame number.
- Cyclists who have finished the race should refrain from cycling on the race circuit.
- An official motorbike may be allowed on the race circuit.
Criterium Format:
Categories have the following time and laps:
- Ladies, Masters 40+ and Masters 50+ have
30 mins + 3 laps. - Elite and U23 have
40 mins + 3 laps. - Juniors have
40 mins + 1 lap.
The route loop is 2.4km.
Location on map:
This event is subject to permits from local authorities. Therefore if in the case there will be cancellation of this event, no refunds will be given but instead participants will be eligible to participate for free in the next cycling race organized by Shamrock Stars Sports Club.
