Who We Are
Shamrock Stars Sports Club, founded in July 2015 by Sean Michael Daly and based in Gozo, Malta, is a dynamic multisport organisation dedicated to promoting athletic excellence, community engagement, and healthy living.
What began as a small basketball group of around 12 athletes has grown into a thriving and diverse sporting community, built on resilience, loyalty, and a shared passion for sport. Today, the club welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities, providing an environment where individuals can develop, compete, and succeed both locally and internationally.
Led by President Sean Michael Daly, the club continues to evolve while staying true to its strong foundations and values.
Our Beginnings
Shamrock Stars started on the basketball court.
In July 2015, approximately 12 athletes came together with a common goal…
to train, compete, and grow. Through resilience, dedication, and loyalty, that small group laid the foundation for what the club has become today.
From those early sessions, Shamrock Stars expanded into multiple disciplines, developing into a recognised multisport club.

Collaborating with Maltese sports federations, local councils, and government entities
Developing athletes through structured training and competition

The club regularly organises environmental cleanup initiatives, involving athletes and their families to promote responsibility and awareness.
